Product description
HOLCIM CEILING FW is a high-quality, non-combustible thermal and sound insulation board made of stone wool, designed for modern and safe construction. Covered on one side with white glass lamination, it provides an aesthetic finish and additional surface protection.
Thanks to the disturbed (irregular) fiber arrangement, the board has excellent acoustic and thermal insulation properties and high resistance to fire.

Installation
HOLCIM CEILING FW panels should be fastened to ceiling or wall surfaces using mechanical fasteners in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. The most common application involves using approximately 3 fasteners per 1 m² of surface area (2 fasteners per panel) with a hole diameter of 5 mm.
In the case of cut, small pieces of boards, at least one fastener should be used per element, regardless of the average density of fasteners per m².
The anchoring depth of the fasteners is specified by the manufacturer and depends, among other things, on the type of substrate. However, it must not be less than 20 mm.
To ensure even load distribution, the fasteners should be fixed in the longitudinal axis of the panel, 30 cm from the shorter edge. This will allow for a 60 cm module between fasteners. It may be helpful to use a working template to mark the puncture points.
For smaller, cut-to-size panels, the fastener layout should be determined individually.
The boards should be installed with a half-length offset relative to adjacent strips.
Installation with adhesive is also permitted, provided that the adhesive manufacturer allows such use in their instructions. In this case, the technical parameters of the wool required by the adhesive manufacturer must be taken into account.
